My Pajero seized it's crank. I rang NCR and they answered their phone. I'd rung two companies before and no one answered. They asked questions about the Pajero, gave me an estimate on what it would be worth and then followed that up with an email. No other company did that.
On the day they told me what it was worth over the phone, we agreed on a price and they transferred the money into my account within half an hour, on a Saturday.

We did not realise how important it is to choose a car-scrapping company very carefully. We had originally agreed to sell to the first company who made contact (scrapcarbuyers.co.nz), however this was a truly horrible experience because they lied to us on arrival and put pressure on us to sell for $100 less than their quote. Then we called National Car Removal & Car Parts. This was a completely different experience. They were honest, punctual, paid immediately, and they 100% honoured the quote they gave us. We got a fair price for our car, which was $100 more than Scrap Car Buyers tried to force us to accept. National was a complete pleasure to work with from start to finish, very professional. Now when we have to scrap another car, we know exactly who to call......National Car Removal....they are the BEST! Don't waste you time selling to anyone else :-)

Just had my car removed with this company. Guy on the phone was so friendly and it took them exactly an hour to be at my address. Driver viewed the car and gave me the cash straight away. Car was removed promptly and overall they were so professional. Highly recommended!!!
